SCA Supplier Terms and Conditions

The SCA Supplier Terms and Conditions was updated on April 18, 2022.

1. ALL MATERIALS AND COMPONENTS MUST BEAR ACCEPTABLE DOCUMENTATION THAT CONFORMS TO AT LEAST ONE OF THE RECEIPT REQUIREMENTS LISTED IN FAA (AC) 00-56 APPENDIX A. (This shall include Drop Shipments – copy of all traceability documents included with drop shipment should also be emailed to po@scross.com)

2. PMA PARTS MUST HAVE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING APPROPRIATE STATEMENTS MARKED IN REMARKS BOX ON FAA 8130-3 AS NOTED IN EASA-FAA T.I.P. REVISION 7 & 7.1 COMBINED, SECTION 7.11 ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTATION REQUIRMENTS FOR FAA PMA PARTS.

a. PMA part is not a critical component OR

b. Produced under licensing agreement from the holder of [INSERT TC or STC NUMBER]. AND/OR

i. Produced by the holder of the EASA STC number [INSERT THE FULL REFERENCE OF THE EASA STC INCORPORATING THE PMA]

3. ALL PARTS PURCHASED UNDER THIS PURCHASE ORDER MUST DISCLOSE THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IN WRITING ON PROVIDED DCOUMENTATION:

a. IF PART HAS / HAS NOT PREVIOUSLY BEEN INSTALLED IN A PUBLIC AIRCRAFT SUCH AS A GOVERNMENT USE AIRCRAFT OR A MILITARY AIRCRAFT

b. IF PART HAS / HAS NOT BEEN SUBJECTED TO CONDITIONS OF EXTREME STRESS HEAT OR EXTREME ENVIRONMENT (AS IN MAJOR AIRCRAFT OR ENGINE ACCIDENT, INCIDENT, OR FIRE).

4. SOUTHERN CROSS RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SHIPMENT AND PAYMENT OF ANY MERCHANDISE SHIPPED WITHOUT THE ABOVE-MENTIONED DOCUMENTATION.

5. Southern Cross reserves the right to final approval of product, procedures, processes, and equipment.

6. The Supplier shall maintain the proper identification and revision status of specifications, drawings, process requirements, inspection/verification instructions and other relevant technical data. Unless noted otherwise on the face of this order, the latest revision level is to be used.

7. Supplier confirms that all AD’s that are represented as having been completed are documented. Certification of compliance shall specify AD number, AD amendment number, date, and method of compliance, i.e., “AD xx-xx-xx terminated (date). Replaced shaft seal with P/N _______ shaft seal (signature)".
